Apparel And Trim Applications With Texiron® Heat Fusible Adhesives
Save Cost & Time With The Texiron Range Of Thermoadhesive Nets, Webs & Films, With Or Without Transfer Paper :
Bonding Instead Of Sewing:
Suppress a stitching operation such as the Invisible stitch, turn-ups (low-end) or the badge stitching.
Aim: Save Time.
Bonding Before Sewing
Light bonding meant to accelerate sewing/slitting/embroidery operations or to maintain textiles in case of slippery, elastic & knitted fabrics.
Aim: Save Time, Reduce Material Waste.
Bonding To Improve The Finishing
This means improving visual finishing after production (flattening of the fabric : turn-ups, stitching returns flattened, adhesion of the fabric to its lining) or after some time : no alteration of the edges or folds of the clothes.
Aim: Quality Improvement, Less Rejects.
Bonding To Reinforce / Stabilize The Fabric
This means avoiding the fraying of the fabric after slitting or stone-wash, replacing interlinings with a "double-face" reinforcing action, fixing fabrics/stitching where tears have been made.
Aim: Quality Improvement, Less Rejects.
APPLICATION METHODS of TEXIRON®
- Application of the thermoadhesive in tapes dragged along by the sewing thread during a straight (webs) or a zig-zag stitching (nets). Then, lamination with another part of the garment during ironing.
- Application of the thermoadhesive in tapes by heat transfer (from paper) during a special ironing operation (preparation) or during the seam busting operation. Then, lamination with another part of the garment during ironing.
- Full width heat transfer of the thermoadhesive onto a fabric. Slitting and lamination are made in a second step. (Labels).
- Lamination by inserting a tape of thermoadhesive between 2 textiles inside of a double stitch before ironing. (Shirt).
- Heat transfer of the thermoadhesive onto a fabric. Then, lamination/ironing of the 2 substrates to be assembled. (Hemming).
- Insertion inside a textile tape through folding guides. Then, sewing, and later on, ironing. (Belt loop).
- Insertion inside a textile tape through a guide for lamination on a flat bed press. (Ribbons). No sewing.
